ChangeFest is a national celebration of place-based social change. The event began in Logan QLD in 2018, moved to Mount Druitt NSW in 2019 and was hosted in the Northern Territory in June 2021.
Collaboration for Impact is one of four national conveners of ChangeFest, and also supports ChangeFest on the Road, a series of smaller events developed with local communities held earlier in 2021. All ChangeFest events aim to celebrate place-based and community-led change, create opportunities to learn from other initiatives and utilise the concentration of energy and resources to accelerate change. The team walk beside and take direction from First Nations and actively advocate for action on Climate and ecological emergency as a vital part of much-needed systems change.
