The systems change movement is growing, and Collaboration for Impact is expanding to increase its resourcing of systems change initiatives.

CFI brings together passionate and purpose-driven people across a range of skills, who are all inspired to work for systems change that will alleviate disadvantage in Australia.

CFI is a leading capability building services provider in the field of place-based collaborative change and systems change. We support over 40 initiatives across Australia to drive social change, many based in regional and remote Australia.

The Opportunity

The Team Assistant is a key member of the Practice team, supporting three Practice Leads by:

  • Providing administration and project management support to multiple projects across Australia
  • Supporting project teams, made up of highly experienced specialist practitioners in our network, delivering work in communities
  • Manage project budgets, coordinate invoicing and subcontracting documentation.
  • Support Practice Leads develop new business and relationships

Project Coordinator

  • 0.8 FTE, 1-year fixed-term contract; circa $80k pa. pro rata

The Opportunity

Become a key member in our Stronger Places Stronger People (SPSP) Project Team supporting a complex multi-site initiative working in 10 communities to create better outcomes for families and children.

The Project Coordinator supports the SPSP Project Lead and the project team by:

  • Providing project management and admin support for this large and complex project
  • Supporting project teams, with proactive coordination, administration and travel logistics for our practitioners, delivering work in 10 communities
  • Managing a complex project budget
  • Provide support to a Learning Program and “Communities of Practice”.
  • Interact with and have strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Draft and coordinate subcontracting agreements with network team members
  • Design, implement and improve project management and workflow processes and tools to track and guide the delivery of projects.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and learning framework and systems including periodically reporting on evaluation.

Collaborative Change Lead

  • Build capability for addressing some of Australia’s most complex social challenges
  • Manage a portfolio of diverse projects and highly skilled teams
  • Role can be based anywhere in Australia, flexible working arrangements,
  • Circa $120 – $150k pro rata
  • 0.8 FTE – 2 year fixed term contract

Your role will be to:

  • Lead and deliver world-class capacity building services to place-based and collaborative change initiatives committed to addressing Australia’s complex social challenges. Directly manage a portfolio of 30+ diverse projects with a number of highly skilled teams.
  • Develop new business and revenue through understanding and scoping client’s needs, writing effective proposals, managing contractual negotiations and managing a business unit budget
  • Lead the development of CFI’s collaborative change practice, contribute to related learning offerings and create content for CFI’s knowledge platforms in order to further build CFI’s offerings and capabilities across CFI, our network and the field.

Operations Coordinator

  • Ensure the organisation’s efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work from home:  4 days per week (FTE 0.8), 2 year fixed term contract
  • Salary range:  $70k – $78k per annum pro rata + superannuation

The opportunity

Join an exceptional team to coordinate operational support for the core team and our network.  Supporting the Operations Lead you will:

  • Be the go-to person for CFI systems, training and helping employees and our network members to use CFI’s systems
  • Recommend and implement new and improved systems and processes to improve the efficiency of CFI’s operations
  • Support HR processes, such as recruitment, induction, preparing employment agreement and subcontracts and general HR admin and records maintenance
  • Work with the practice team to improve the efficiency of the systems and processes that support delivery of services to clients
  • Maintain CFI organisational policies, processes and registers
  • Update the CFI websites as required (with CFI Digital and Communication Leads)
  • Be an active member of the Operations Team and participant in CFI culture
