I have spent the last 20 years working with individuals, groups and organisations to make the change they want, in complex settings. As a leader and facilitator, I am a specialist in brokering multi stakeholder collaborations, hosting engagement processes on sensitive issues, working with groups looking at how to effect change across whole systems.
Internationally, my experience includes working with global partners on World Trade negotiations, with communities and advocates tackling HIV/AIDS in Southern Africa, with the UN and donors, governments and International NGOs in the interests of disaster prone or effected communities in Asia and supporting the evolution of multi stakeholder networks on climate in the Pacific. In Australia I have been working alongside First Nations leaders in a couple of remote communities, have led complex and sensitive engagement processes on issues like LGBTIQ+ multicultural experiences of acceptance on lack of, domestic violence, elder abuse.
I have provided specialist coaching, training and facilitation for and with local leaders towards building diverse, inspired and effective leadership teams; ensuring community members are leading the work; brokering multi stakeholder commitments to change plans; advising around data use and indicator setting and political and policy influencing.
I have been an active champion of the possibility that through disciplined and inspired collaboration we can do soooo much better in Australia. At CFI I am one of the people who bang on about how to build the right container for the work. I love this stuff and am really booking forward to sharing this experience and enthusiasm with you!
