Practice Team Coordinator

  • Ensure the organisation’s efficiency and effectiveness

  • $75k – $80k per annum + superannuation, fulltime
  • Fixed term contract to 30 June 2023 with the potential for extension

The opportunity

This role supports two leaders and their teams with project management and coordination of their work with external partners. This includes:

  • Contributing to business development, communicating with potential and existing clients
  • Managing the pipeline of incoming work opportunities;
  • Coordinating the scoping and contracting processes;
  • Operational management of CFI’s project work with partners; and Building agile and user-friendly business processes that contribute to CFI’s high standards of work in the field, build on strong relationships centred on purpose, and ensure financial sustainability.

Your day-to-day

The key ongoing activities involve:

  • Developing systems, processes and resources that support coordination, project management and administration of consulting work. Represent these teams on IT projects
  • Drafting components of proposal and tender submissions and apply pricing policies to estimates, review for commercial outcomes and coordinating the completion and submission of these documents.
  • Contributing to the monitoring, reporting and review of financial position and performance with the Leaders and Finance.
  • Scheduling meetings, travel arrangements and other operational support to the Project Team working in the field.

What We’re Looking For

Demonstrated experience in:

  • Qualifications in Project Management
  • Project coordination experience administering multiple projects and the budgets with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Design, implementation and improvement of processes and tools to track project delivery and evaluate and measure outcomes
  • Stakeholder management and strong relationship building and nurturing skills
  • Superuser capability of key systems (Harvest, DropBox, Presentations, MS Excel and Word) and the ability to introduce system and process innovation and improvement.
  • Team coordination and support anticipating team’s needs and ensuring delivery consultants have what they need (resources, travel coordination and access to CFI tools etc.)
  • Professional services or consulting industry experience would be well regarded
